My Summer Trip to the Carribean

In July as some of you know I returned to my homeland of Trinidad for a much needed vacation here are a sample of the pics.

Oh yeah and the cars...
This is what we were forced to drive around in for the month. A 2003 E 430... it was an adjustment... but we got through it.

I ran into a bunch of Evo's but this was the one I got closest to, when I had my camera ready. It was on a used car lot I think it was a 99 Evo 6 Tommi Makkinen Edition.

The problem wiith it was that they were asking $55,000 dollars for it... Trinidadian dollars, which works out to $11,000 CDN. ARGH. Check the mods...

My first encounter with a Skyline... turned out to be just a RB20 non turbo but still very nice... not exactly what I was hunting for...

And of course the HIGHLIGHT of the trip and definately one of the best moments of my life, I came face to face with my dream car... modded in almost the exact same way I would.

All the mods on the car came from a NISMO parts catalog. With the exception of the wheels which were Blitz 18x8 front and 18x10 rear. You may also notice there is a roll cage installed, this is because the car is the 2nd fastest Skyline on the island... 10.2 quarter on the same street tires pictured. The owner still uses twin HKS GT series turbos, with all the Nismo goodies possible. Behind this car was a Red Mitsubishi GTO TT also completely modded (you can kinda see it). In front was a Silver FD TT modded out of course, and beside that in a corner was the rest of the TT club a Silver MK4 Supra, wearing the better part of an HKS catalog. All these were all wearing 18 inch Blitz wheels except for the Supra which had Work Meister 2. Man I hate this guy. But he did let me sit in em as well, when I asked for the keys he said that he didn't have any gas in em. (BULLLLSHIIITTT!!!)

Yeah the 430 was pimped... that's actually the look we were going for with the bamboo pole and stuff... I have better pics of the beaches, that day was all rainy. I'll post em sometime.

oh man thats sweet, evo for 11K :hitit: In pakistan even though its a pretty poor country there are evo's there and skylines, Mostly drug dealers kids though :D :D

That's weird, a 430 engine in the W211 E-class. North America only got the E500 and the beast E55 V8's for 2003.

AcuraTL, in pakistan if u see a civic/corolla/accord...its liek seeing a frikkin high end benz. and u'd be lucky to see a g3 integra.

Dude when i was their last winter break i stayed at the Sheraton there, there were diplomats stayin there and stuff, they had High end 2003 benzs there.

eh man. A fellow Trini here! I spent all summer in Trinidad as well, definately surprised as to the amount of hot cars there. I live in the states and drive a 94 Toyota supra, which was the only car i did not see in Trinidad. I went clubbing at 51 downtown, and asoon as i stepped outside there was a MINT r34 parked in front. Looked awsome. Saw some BRAND new skylines, silvias, FTO's etc. The list goes on! I stayed in Chaguanas which is like a minute from where you took the pic with the black evo. The owner of that dealership has 3 skylines. 2 R34's and a R33 making 700WHP as i understand.
