Hey, i was wondering if anyone out there knows how to check the "check engine" light codes for a 2nd Gen Dsm so i could see what is the problem with my eclipse. Thanx for your help!

Call a few Part Source or AutoValue stores and ask if they have an OBD2 code checker. If they do, then go in and plug it in (The connector is to the right of your steering wheel, under the dash. You don't have to remove any panels to get to it.) It should give you a numerical code. Then check this website...

... to see what the code means.

If you can't get a code reader, I'm not sure if it's possible to 'flash out' the code like on some other cars.

dsmtuners.com will have all the info you need also go to google and search vfaq dsm and youll find a dsmvfaq page its very helpful
