whats up guys. i am complete newbie. I don't even own a car yet. turning 16 in about a week and half. I'm really interesting in upgrading my car and such. Mostly just the exterior body and the interior. I was wondering what u do with the body kit when it gets shipped to you. Are you expected to install it yourself or can u take it to, say, jiffy lube or one of those car places and they can install it for you. Also if you don't get a tubo on your car when u buy it, how much does it cost and who will install that for you? or can u do it yourself? Also, is there anything else i need to take into consideration before i buy a body kit that could screw everything up? thx

wow. First off maybe you should use the search button, but when you get a body kit it wont be painted and i hope you will paint it. So first youll get it painted and then you'll need to find a place that will install it(as with this post i doubt you can do it yourself), and jiffy lube wont be able to do it, youd need a body shop. Second for a turbo you need more parts then just a turbo, and in american dollars it would cost prolly a minimum of 1500 dollars, but it depends on the car(which you dont even have yet), any performance shop can install it , im not familiar with texas so youd have to look one up yourself

First...before thinkin about modifying ur car...start learning about ur car ......and how a car works and all that

Second...start learning how to drive ...

Third...since ur 16...get a job and save up money before dreaming of these big ideas about souping up ur car..unless ur rich then go nuts

As mentioned above, no need for a turbo for awhile until you've got more driving experience. A turbo engine's throttle response is quite different from a normally aspirated one.

Upgrade the wheels, tires and suspension before you even think of getting a body kit.
