yesterday i installed keyless entry on my 96 accord. i got it working good but didnt have time to figure out how to get the signal to the headlights to get them to flash when i hit lock or unlock.

than i got to thinkin, since i have interior neon, how could i send a signal long enoug to the neon to get it to stay on for like 1 second during/after the car was unlocked? i know how to get the constant power to the neon from the unlock/lock signal, but i dont know how to keep the contant power open for a period of time...

you need a timed relay latch, it recieves the signal (from losk or unlock) and closes the relay for a predetermined amount of time.

what type of module are you using?

nope, i dont think it does... actually i'm sure it doesnt :P

it has outputs 1, 2, 3, and 4...

1 - goes to lock
2 - goes to unlock
3 - nothing
4 - nothing

i was thinking if i set the 3rd output to the neon, and set the relay for like 2 seconds for output 3... that it would work... but it did not... apparently... :(
