So I went to look at a 92 GS. That car had shady written all over it, front bumper looked like it had been repainted, engine looked closer to 300K than to 200K.

Any of you willing to part with your rides? Lam-boy, I'd love a black GS!

keep any eye out for the one you want. i wanted a white GS when i was looking but couln't find one with a 5spd. but i love my car. and i would suggest geting a 92-93 teg just becuase of the 10 extra horse and the updated front bumper.

Thats my logic. I'm kind of riding a timebomb because the cavy hates winter. I've got the cash plus trade in for the cavalier, should be able to afford a GS-R. I wont be able to find a GSR but it seems that a nice 92-93 GS is hard to find.

Keep an eye out.

It wasn't for sale though, but it was nice.

How much was the asking price? If it's low enough, the extra money saved can go towards maintenace and UPGRADES.

Thanks guys, I called about 5 people last night asking them about their cars. Some of them were painted awful colors (burgandy, off white) Some were to high in KM's. I know I'm being picky but I have to live with my choice for a few years at least.

They're all pretty much going to be high in km's. So maybe consider getting one in good shape for cheep, say around 3k or less. Then use the rest and maybe a little extra for an engine swap? :bigpimp:

93 Integra LS (with GS rims)
Really dark green, not sure of the actual color. Interior is tan coloured, Sony CD deck, no mods!!!

2dr, 5spd, 180k.

I love it, cant wait until the snow clears. It already does everything better than the cavalier.

QuasarCav

I would love to take a cruise to banff. Keep me posted on when and where.

Colour code G71-P

A co-worker has a 92 and his colour is "captive blue pearl" he said it was only available in 92 and that my colour was only available in 93. I'm guessing he knows because he bought the car from the lot and the only thing stopping him from a GSR was his wife not knowing stick.

frostyda9

Ahh ok, that's isle green I believe, nice colour and pretty rare!
My Modifier car is that colour hehe
Makes me wonder if your car is an LS-S and not just the regular LS :bigpimp:

BTW if anyone wants to go on a cruise I'm starting a 1000KM trek tomorrow haha

QuasarCav
12-22-2004, 09:24 PM
I'm thinking that too. It has the front lip, GS rims and power everything.

Whats the story on the LS-S?

frostyda9
12-22-2004, 10:33 PM
All I can find about the LS-S is that it came with leather seats, a spoiler, aluminum wheels, and body colour matched side mouldings.

What a difference! This car handles great, gets awesome mileage and the interior is about 10 times better than any GM product.

I bought a spoiler (OEM) because I think the hatch looks naked without it. Next will be some tint and I love the look of the 1pc headlights and 90-91 tails.

Damn you mod bug, you bit me again.

Any of you changed the thermo on your cars?

I've looked around on g2ic.com but cannot find any pics or write-ups as to how to replace it.

Would you suggest a genuine acura part or will partsource do?

Very nice!! It's making me sad that I can't do that :(

So, I've been in hiding for a little while, but with good reason......My teg fucking blew up. I had a shitload of starting and idling problems only to find out that my headgasket is toast. I have just over 3,000KM on my engine. I'm now being told that I'm basically going to have to eat the labor to get it fixed and buy the new headgasket. Also, the fuel pressure was too high, so it's washing out my rings and nothing's seated yet. I've parked it for now and I'm pretty pissed. I don't feel like putting anymore money in to it after the significant sum I just wasted on it. It seems like everytime I get it payed off, there's another sizable expense waiting. All in all, I'm very unimpressed with this build.

I'd like to change out the tranny, put in cam gears, a new TB and change out the ignition. So from the looks of it, my car isn't going to be run for a long time. What a waste!

I'm picking up a 87 volvo turbo wagon pretty soon as a winter beater, so my money's going there for the next little while.

Speed_Dreams
01-06-2005, 01:21 PM

01-06-2005, 01:42 PM
*freakin* Sorry to hear that man, that really.....blows.....:(
That's sort of why I was thinking of a stock ITR engine but...:dunno:

What I need now is a starter. Honda wants $300+ for one but napa is $100 cheaper with a 2yr waranty. Anyone have any other ideas?

freakin
01-06-2005, 01:44 PM
They've offered to split the labor but I have to cover the parts. I haven't had time to go down there and talk to them and get anything finalized yet.....mainly because I don't have a car to use at the moment. Either way.....it sucks

Sandino....just park on hills :poosie:
...or carry a large metal bar to hit it. Worked for me.
There's always people parting out cars on G2IC. I'm sure you could get a starter there.

Speed_Dreams
01-06-2005, 02:33 PM

G2's handle like ass in the snow. I don't know if you have ABS or not, but I don't.... and it's very easy for the back to slide out when braking. Does anyone with a lowered G2 get a clicking sound when they turn the steering wheel hard to either side under slight acceleration (like when doing a U-turn)? Other than that (like going around a corner) or something it seems fine.

Damn, that's what I was afraid of. Is this normal after lowering, because it never did this until after I lowered it. If I'm going to replace them, anybody know what brands are out there worth buying?
