Sorry to hear of your trouble. No offense but I can't make out some of the typing - what is "theawle"? Maybe a picture might help. Hopefully this didn't happen while you were driving.

Kyle, I'm having trouble trying to visualize what's happened. Was this on the front or the back? Can you take a pic of your problem?

*edit* Looks like Mike beat me to it. But pics would help.

theawle = the axle ? "Brake disc facing the ground", sounds like a reinstallation problem of the knuckle if I'm visualizing it right.

edit: looks like you clarified. Picture would still be helpful. Good luck. I'd help if I were still a single guy without a family.

My distributor died on my this weekend, so I can't help at the moment, short of advice.

If the axle just isn't going in to the hub, try cleaning the splines with a wire brush, then put some lube on it. Same with the hub, clean it with a rag, then put some lube in it. They should slid together after that. You can also tap the hub gently with a soft face hammer to coax it in. If it's going in, but the lower ball joint isn't lining up then you might have pulled the axle apart, so it's too long for everything to fit together. If that's the case, then you either need a new axle, or you have to pull that one apart and fix it.

PS, does anyone have an OBD1 VTEC distributor I could borrow for a day or two?

Here's a mockup of my CRX. There's no front suspension in yet, so it's just sitting on wood, and the front end isn't fully together yet, hehe.

Kyle, what kind of camber kit did you get? Anchor bolt type or the adjustable ball joint kind? Not trying to sound like an ass, but did you put it in backwards by chance? When you say the brake disc is facing the ground, I am visualizing the upper ball joint being out of whack, causing the upper part of the knuckle to stick outwards a bit, hence the brake rotor to face downwards.

Matt car looks good

Legendboy, pm sent.

Mike - talked to the shop today. they said they'll give me a call a day or so before my car is ready. They need the old hood for a template to drill out the hood pins. The shitty news is that you can only get the hood during work hours, and you have to be accompanied by me for them to release it.

streetdreams - do you still need some help? If so, what part of the city are you in?

I thought the axle was messed up. I've had the same problem before. If you pull on them too much in the removal, they'll seperate. Good to hear it's back together.

93 Integra gsr with 152,000 Km on it. Red on Black. Totally mint - original paint, no accident, no rust, showroom like condition inside and out (seats don't even have any wear on them) and completely unmodded in any way shape or form. The guys owned it since new and it's never seen a winter or anything, absolutely gorgeous looking.

Dave,
This is what you want:
http://www.quartersportsdrag.com/H2B.html

I does sit higher than it would with other kits, so you might find the handling affected, and you have to modify the hood a little.....but it would simplify the swap by not having to do the shift cables, axles and whatnot. You're keeping your light flywheel and clutch with it as well. I think it's a pretty good idea and you should be able to get an H22 auto for cheap and then toss the tranny....or sell it to someone with an Accord.

Dave,
Why didn't you make them put a 92-93 on? I wouldn't just not picked it up. Also, what happened to your JDM lights?

If you still have those amber signals, then Dan will likely need them.

If anyone wants a 92-93 bumper, I'll sell a brand new one for $200 (what I paid for it). I ordered one in and can't cancel it anymore. It seems like out of the 3 people that are legitemitely interested in buying my car don't care if the bumper is replaced yet.

We are in "negotiations" right now. In the end, I paid $420 (in addition to what the bitches insurance covered) for a bumper I didn't get, signal lights I can't use, and headlights that look like big old titties on the front of my car. The VIS hood is nice, I admit, but the rest isnt going to cut it.

damn, I would be raising hell. Gotta love when you know what you're talking about and some stupid monkey tells you you're wrong because of what's in a book. You shouldn't be paying anyhting for what you have. I'm sure those healights are worth more than the $150 that you would've paid in town for JDM lights.

That aside, does anyone have an OEM hood I could grab (preferably black)? I sold my car today, but the hood isn't going with it. Or even better, if you want a CF hood, let me know and we'll work some sort of trade + cash.

HAHA, I can feel the love. I'm still in the Honda ranks, so I'm still around. Besides, the new owner is one of us so I'm sure he'll take care of my baby....I'll let him reveal himself though.

It's a little sureal since I've had that car so long. It's survived 4 girlfriends, hehe. That is in no way a comment on my priorities, hehe.
