I have some small details to iron out, like the leaking brake line, breaking the motor in, alignment, etc, but it is driving. We took it out for a little rip this afternoon.

Hey, i just noticed this G2 Topic.
Ill introduce myself.
Im Kris, I live in Leth, i own a 92. Im a second year Apprentice at Tirecraft here in Leth.

The car is Parked atm but soon as i find a garage ill be worken on it again. its 2 differnt colors right now, Blue Black, and i have some white Side skirts.
I have redone the head in school, all the valves and the valve seats. off one of my engines. i basicly had 2 Gen2's and merged lots of the parts to mine. I had some bad luck, Bought a Tranny from a shop in town here.. installed it and a couple months later i got the return of the 3rd gear grind!. (which is why i swapped the trany in the first place) so once i get a garage ill swap my other one in.. and dismantle the grinding one.. im pretty sure its the blocking ring. cause even if i double clutch it grinds... something really bad happened to it. all started after the car sat for a couple months.

so i hope to cough up the money to get the body painted next summer, once i put the new head on, clean it all up. deck out the engine bay a bit with this aluminum pulley, set i have. install the short shifter, Suspension i have. and really get it ready for paint.

Your right.. David owned it before and it was my luck he saw me at a gas station near his house. Him and i are still friends to this day. he sold me the car at a good price.. being it was from the states and wasnt running properly at the time.
A Couple Well placed vacume lines and it ran fine. The car was verrry useful for me cause i used ALot of parts from it.

the kit went to my ex best friend.. i think he still has it.. no idea.. hes kinda a pack rat. It was in pretty rough condition... the sides needed to be touched up badly and so did the front.. the rear wasnt half bad but... you get the point...

It's been a while, almost a year, but I found another Integra.
I drove a red '91 GS, but many of you may not know me as I moved to Vancouver, maybe Frozenrice remembers, since I sold him his rear spoiler for his DB1.

Anyways, I found myself a black DB2. I'm looking for some one piece headlights, anyone know of anyone selling for cheap or someplace in Calgary selling for cheap? Is JDM source still around and selling them?

Hey mang! One pieces are still just as hard to find (sort of) as they were before. I called JDM source a few months back and he didn't have any at the time. He may now, but dont' know for sure. There's got to be a shop in the Van area that'll have them.

from what i heard its hard to get a dyno tune these days... but you could just go down to speedtech and ask for a street tune.

any way if any you guys need some stuff from a g2 ask. I am ripping apart mine and i am keeping it clean. so like cruise unit, ps unit, ac unit, ac parts you know junk that gets in the way of a clean engine bay.

Yeah, there's places here that have them, but I'm not wanting to shell out their asking price. I need to find the cheaper places hehe.

It's called Tamiya clear orange and I bought it at the hobby shop on Macleod near Chinook Centre. It was $3 a bottle but buy two in case you screw up and don't want to drive back. Use a foam brush to do it and apply two coats on each lens. It would look better if you sanded and polished the signal lens before you started.

Rear seal is fixed. Turned the idle screw and the idle is now 750. Just need to do another valve adjustment and set the timing, and put the interior back together. :thumbsup:

Does anyone go to Secret Street on Fridays? I might be interested on going this Friday granted the weather. I had a poor run last time, low 16's. It was my first time, 4.5 psi, and running on basemap.

I'll see what I can do now that I have dyno tuned it along with 7psi and a voltage stabilizer which I don't think will do much or anything.

Hey man,
I could not make it because I was too tired from work and i figured that it will be super busy last night. Also, I think that I am leaning out on cylinder 1.

I'm not detonating but my exhaust manifold #1 has turned really dark purple in color compared to the rest of them which are still golden brown.

The injector #1 could be the culprit, I bought it used, it is a 450cc injector. Could be clogged or something. Still running the stock fuel pump, I dont think that that would be the issue though.

Is that the intake you've got, or the bottom end? I was under the impression that I would have to change a B20 intake out to a B18A/B unit if I put a B20 in to the car.

Darren, do you have a leakdown tester? I want to check this motor out before I pull it. Also, I still have that rear motor mount for you. I didn't finish swaping it out.....I started yesterday but had some trouble trying to manouver it out from the back of the engine bay. I should have it done this week.

I have a short B20 manifold; most b20 manifolds were the tall giraffe type. Personally I would try to find a B18B intake.

*My leakdown tester is at JDM Source. Give me a call again..ttyl
