Anybody need/want a partial set of thin side mouldings? I pulled a set from a RHD DA at pick n pull today. The only piece missing is the one from the right side rear (USDM-passenger/JDM-driver side).

It's a 90, but you're out of luck. The thing's been picked clean of the engine, transmission and the interior. I was going to grab the cluster, but the dash is gone too.

not that good. I have gone through three engines and two turbos, so i am going with a b16 and then going itb's. over the winter i am getting it repainted but i had a hit and run, some one broke all of my lights and bumper and hood. the only good thing i have now is sir wheels.car will be done by spring.

just picked up my teg. soooo stoked to tear it up. its got a 2nd gen b16 with cold air, short shift, ractive header, borla exaust, and its compleatly shaved.

it came with a garrett t3, cast manifold, injectors, and an intercooler. anyone know about how much it would be to compleate the kit and put it in? looking forward to one of those meets, they look like a blast.

Judging by your turbo parts list, you still need a blow off valve, some misc. intercooler piping, oil lines, fuel rail/pressure regulator/pump, boost gauge, A/F gauge and assuming that the T3 is externally wastegated, you'll also need a wastegate. Then's there's the installation of it all. Shop or DIY?
Hard to say what your exact cost will be in the end.

Post some pictures when you can.

Also, does anyone need a complete hatch? I have a black one sitting in my basement. I've also got some rear door panels, rear windows and tail lights (92-93) for a 4-door as well as a dash pad and most of the center console in black.

Where the hell did all these 90-91 LSDs come from all of a sudden? I just picked one up a few weeks ago. Just out of curiosity, how much are you asking? I'm assuming it's a S1 long geared LS transmission?

If it has a factory LSD in it, my guess would be that it's from a B16. It would be short gearing.

Its a short geared B16 tranny with a aftermarket LSD. I'll send you a pm.

I wish I would have kept the GSR as well. The WRX that I picked up to replace it has to be the most unexciting car I've driven and it handles like crap.

Haha yah i still lurk here. Kind of been itching to buy an impreza though. However, it's not worth it to sell the teg cause it's in great operating condition, so i'll be around for awhile.

You've made great progress with your teg... and even original paint still.

It's fantastic in the winter. When we had that really large snowfall around Christmas I was pulling people out of the ditch and using the side roads as my personal rally course. I tried to get myself stuck by driving through a school field and it just keeps on going. If you have one wheel with grip it seems like you can't get stuck.

It's a bit of a chore to drive, all of the power comes on at 3K and it just feels very linear as opposed to the GSR which was a complete joy to drive and would reward you for shifting and driving hard. It will heavily understeer into corners and then oversteer when you reach the limit, you really have to go slow in and fast out with this car.

I think the big thing that made me not appreciate it was when we bought an older Miata. I have a hard time driving other cars now that I've driven a 2000lbs RWD 4 cylinder that loves to rev.

anyone ever have issues with the ALB light randomly coming on? I can hear the pump running as if its trying to pressurize the system, then after about 2 mins the light goes on. Having issues with the wheel going back and forth very lightly upt o about 40-50km then the wheels fine.. You think this could destroy the sensor? thanks

Probably a faulty/dirty sensor. I was having the exact same symptons with mine, but another problem I had was brake fluid would leak from around the pump area when the pump would act up. I ended up disabling the entire ABS system. Just got to get around to doing the complete removal.

hmmm, well the sensors clean, but ill probably just end up either replacing the sensor or disabling it.

I have a swapped engine from a 3rd Gen, and the only bracket that will work is one from a 2nd gen GSR
