This isnt much info, but i was talking to someone at toyota, customer service guy i believe, and i said how toyota really got rid of all its sporty cars. And he goes "Thats not true, we have the supra coming out..... oops wasnt supposed to say that." i asked him whether it was TT or just single turbo, but he said [he didnt noe] suuure, anyway thought some of you might like to know were going to get a supra coming out:D :bigpimp: :D

havent seen anything about this yet, assumed noe1 knew

They don't have an inexpensive sporty car for the masses. What was the MSRP of the last Supra? Over $50k? That was like 10 years ago.

If Toyota actually produces a supercar, very few people will be able to afford one.

the goons at the dealership dont know any more than we do about pre-release cars.

do a search. there are spy pics of the new "supra." its rumored to be a hybrid v10 or some crazy shit.

^^^Am I crazy, or do those body lines look a LOT like a Tiburon? Especially those "gills."

I was gonna say the first pics, body styling reminds me of a RX8 (except for the headlights)

nothing is definite yet. suposedly there is a 500+hp v10 comming in the "car" (may or may not be a supra), with a price tag of about $100 000 US

But like everyone said, it's not gonna be for the masses @ $100K. And it could be a Lexus instead of Toyota in order to commend that price.

^^ i agree

most sources are saying that Toyota's next sports car is supposed to compete with Porsches both in specs and price range

Yeah I was about to say it's near 100k. WAY too much IMO. About as much as a 997S WITH all the options (including the 10k PCCB system)

it's all speculation right now. who the fuck knows what the hell it is? nobody does.
so wait until they unveil it at a big auto show in the spring.

I have to agree with you on that one.. plus never trust what those chimps working at the dealership say. They are all so uninformed about everything, or are so high on themselves to realize they don't have too much more information then we do like stated before.
