Hey all,
The back of my car is shaking slightly side to side. I just put the winter tires on, everything is fine balance-wise. I feel the shaking mostly on the highway in the bottom of my seat. Any suggestions on what it might be? i'm pretty sure it's a wheel bearing, but just making sure...

what speed is it happening at ? most likely the tires are out of round. it does not matter if they are balanced if the tires are out of round

You were probably thinking around 80kmh correct? It's mainly cruising speed on the highway...110kmh. I get it while driving around at 50 too...but it's harder to notice (could be pass off for a bumpy road, etc.)

chances are very good you have a separated tire in the rear. 99% of the time this is the problem. most likely it wasn't noticed during installation

yah one of my buddies had some shaking in the rear just like yours...then one day the tire blew out on 16th...
so get it checked asap most likely a bad tire.
