I was searching on ebay and found this integra.
http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=5335&item=2496814626&rd=1
I'm just wondering if you could register this and how did he get it over here .

I have no idea how he got it through to the U.S.

I HAVE read about DC5R's being registered in California...there was an article in SCC a few issues back on the car...

but to answer your question...NO...it's not Legal...it needs to be 15 years old to the date of production...so sorry to trash your DC2R dreams man...

Maybe his account got jacked or something?
His past auctions consist of a GI Joe, jacket, and an invalid item :D

I did a lot of research into this once. I think those cars actually may be legal because the equivalent LHD model has been crash tested etc. in Canada. I may be wrong because I was looking more into cars such as the Skyline which aren't available in Canada and that's where the 15 year rule defiantly applies. I seem to remember seeing a list of cars that could be brought into Canada (they were all vehicles available here it seemed). Unfortuantely I don't remember where that link was but I think it was somewhere in the government site. Maybe redbaron (I think that's his name) has some insight since he imports for a business.

this is true..the list you prolly looked at were for LHD cars from the US..the japanese cars have bumpers that won't pass the crash tests and other items that vary from car to car...

cant you just sell it to someone in the states, looks like what hes trying to do. They can get them legalized down there, like what motorex does for new rhd cars.

Motorex only got Skylines legal by doing their own modifications and crash testing I believe. I'm pretty sure they now have a monopoly on that market because a non-motorex skyline does not meet the US crash test requirements. Once again this was a couple years ago that I looked into it so I may be mistaken but I'm pretty sure that's how it all worked/works.
