86 Celica GT-S central lock problem

Hey My sister has an 86 Celica GTS and shes having some trouble with the central locks in it. and one day they just stoped working i have alreayd replaced the switch in the drivers door and the Door lock conrol modual ( drivers door ) and apparently theres a little black box in the dash with a pin hole thats for reset (???) the "reset" was done before the control modual was replaced and i was just wondering if anyone has any advice on this and could point me in the right direction
