Just wondering, what is the legal number of ppl. you can have in a vehicle, as in, as long as all seat belts are used you are safe to go or what...

I am just wondering what the rule is on this...

So you can load more people in your car than you have seatbelts, if you use them all???

When I was just a kid (maybe 18 years ago), I remember my dad loaded 9 people (incl. adult and kids) in our Civic... it was a tight squeez... not all of us got to seat... haha.

I've been in vehicles pulled over at night on the weekends, and pretty much all you need to say is "I'm designated driver" and they won't care. They'd rather everyone get home safe without considering getting behind the wheel.
