New pontiac on the market

Was wondering what you guys thought of the new pontiac. I think its called a G6 or something. My bro thinking of gettin one.

the commercial says it has sports car like acceleration. last time i checked, there wasn't any sports car that took 7.5 seconds to go 0-60.

G6 replaces Grand AM. Looks really like a Mazda 6 so some people may get confused. Priced a bit high and all the adverstising has been aim toward women so far (Oprah, TV ad etc). A 7.5 sec auto pulling 3800 lbs isn't that bad and mostly on par with cars in this segment.

Soltice is base on a new platform (Kappa?) and should the base for 3 new convertibles/coupe (Saturn, Buick, Chevy). Looks alright.

To me the G6 looks like the Grand Am it replaces, just without that body moulding.

i like the G6 overall, but the backend looks way too much like both a tiburon or scion tC. and i'm pretty sure you can get a 6 speed stick with the gtp.

thats about on par with your car stock :D . SVT Focus takes that long, and there are probably like 300 more (through the years). Not to mention it says sports car LIKE acceleration.

yah, but I drive a golf, its not a sports car. and neither is a SVT Focus, its an econo hatchback as well.
