Hello. I am currently caught in a dilema. I have a standard *.jpg image with a background and text. What I would like to do, is erase the text present, and have it appear so that nothing was ever there.

Is this possible? If it is, how would you suggest I do it?

Methods I have tried:
-Magic Wand + Erase + Blur
-Magic Wand +Erase + Paint
-Various Pattern techniques.

Help!

use the cloning stamp then smudger

for example if ur area looks like this
-----------------------------------------------------------------
| ............................text here...............................................|
-----------------------------------------------------------------

use the cloning stamp to grab some paint from the huge
"dotted area" and stamp it over the text area, then use the smudge tool to even out the paint job

hope that works

really depends on what the picture looks like (ie: do you have a TON of detail in the image behind the text....or is it just some general shit that can be easily worked with..)

maybe post it up for us and we can work on it and hell even just do it for you :)
