91-93 MR2 with MKIV Supra rims?

I was on country hills blvd tonight and spotted a white 91-93 MR2 turbo with what appeared to be OEM MKIV Supra rims. If so I never knew the Supra shared the MR2's bolt pattern. Also surprised that the offset and fitment would work. The car had the 94+ tails and the side mouldings were painted white to match the rest of the car. It had a big spoiler mounted on it as well. Overall the car was quite clean, I wonder if the owner's on the forums?

Saw that the other day on Shaganappi near Market Mall.
Wonder how hard it was to get those rims??

Yeah it looked pretty much exactly like that. MKIV Supras in general are super rare so to come across a set of those rims must be next to impossible. That's unless you buy them brand new from Toyota for an obscene amount of money. Would you need spacers or other alterations to make them fit the MR2? The sizes would seem a bit wide for such an application.

Um, actually these rims are not as hard to find as everyone seems to think. They usually run about $400-600 U.S. for a set that is in good condition.

I have a set on mine and 3 other of my firends have them on their mkIII's.

They look awsome on mr2's! As well as almost any car they are on!

is it me or do the front rims look bigger then the rear?

It's just the angle. I have pics of mine where the front looks a little smaller but it's just the way I took the pic.

He has spacers on them and he got them off a friend with a Supra.....Fast car, TMIC, BB turbo, my old spoiler, baby blue and white interior....

those are not 93 style rims, those rims are the same for 91 92 surpa, the 93 ones are a little different
