My sister bought a set of all seasons from Costco a while back, she currently has 45K Kms on the tires and they have a 130 K km treadlife warranty. Recently we put winters on the car, and when we pulled the all seasons off, all 4 of them are currently at the wear bars. I brought the tires into Costco to inquire about warranty issues, but they say the tires must have less than 2/32 of any tread remaining:banghead:

Did anyone else here have issues with Costco tires?

What kinda tires did you guys buy?
My mom has a set from Costco as well and she works up in Airdrie.
She constantly drives back and forth from the NE of Calgary all the way up to Airdrie. Her treadlife is wearing low but it lasted her about last winter till just through this summer.

We should meet up, I'll throw the tires on my car and they will be at 1/32 in no time!

Currently the tires are unmounted, they are the michellen x radials.

Did they wear un-evenly? Sounds like they hit the wear bars in one spot, but still have tread in another?
If so, you've got an alignment problem, and it may have scrubbed the tires down, which would explain the poor tire life. Although, that's pretty odd to have all 4 do that....

Actually they have all been worn down evenly, and all 4 tires are pretty much in the same condition.

Okie dokie, that dispells my guess. If you're certain the alignment is good, then by all rights, string them up by their nuts about the tires. That is an extremely short lifespan for a set of tires.
I have a set on my 944, with no threadwear warranty, but I was told they would last 50-75,000km's. They're over 100,000km's, and still have about 30% tread left!
