Buddy of mine needs to get new rings, rods, pistons, headgasket and valve stem seals put into his Neon, so pretty much a basic overhaul. Where would be the best place to go? Dealer?

Civicluva he'd probably be best off using oem parts, unless hes looking for performance parts. Aftermarket oem-replacement parts may be cheaper initially but in the long run they often do not pay off.

I know a couple of people who have recently had their motor done @ speedtech and they are unbelivabley happy with it. i would call Speedtech. or see if you can drop in a evo motor in your neo...what would be sweet

An evo motor in his neon...

If he had that much money, he wou'dnt be driving a neon.
Go to toy's R us.
they have plastic cold air intakes for a 1992 power wheels jeep
for 5.99.

best horse power for you're buck.
