I don't usually manipulate photos at all but I thought I'd give it a try.

I dont think macro lenses can get that close.

Neither. I'm just using a 50mm lens in reverse along with my 10mm-300mm (at 100mm). Too cheap to buy a macro lens, too lazy to go pick up a set of extension tubes! Hahaha!

Here's number two. I know these are technically from October but I just finished fixing them up tonight so they will go in this thread :)

Nice day, no work, I got to try out my new solar filter :D

On the lower left is sunspot 699 and on the mid-right is sunspot 696.

My first time using it, so I've got a bit to work on. Hopefully it'll be nice out this weekend. I'll try getting some better shots of the sunspots :)

Who ever said it was bad to stare at the sun!?

My latest.....excuse the shittyness but this was done without a tripod...I'll be picking up a tripod tomorrow and will have more nice night pics to post up :)

This is the Broadway Street bridge here in Saskatoon
Haven't touched the picture up in pshop or anything yet either...will do that tomorrow and see if I can get it to look any nicer

Saturday's sun. This picture has more obvious sunspots.

From left to right, sunspots 701, 699, and 700. (Notice from my first images how sunspot 699 was on the lower left edge, while now it's in the middle of the sun.)

Awesome dogs. I had one as a kid and miss it to this day.

Very friendly, very gentle and just great... if you can tolerate a garbage bag full of hair every couple months.

I want to get one again someday.
