Thanks

Hey Playa...

Every Monday night me and some friends either go to Limericks in Calgary South, or Kilkenny in Calgary North.

17 cents a wing, really good wings too if you order them 10 at a time so they don't get cold.

If you go before 6:00pm you can get a bottle of beer for $2.25 as well which isn't that bad.

A lot of good times on Monday nights!

Yeah I'm friends with Gino(the owner) so it's wing night everytime I go there. Great place to drink and play pool.

That's funny cus we used to go to Kilkenny every monday until they wouldn't let me in on the last game for the stanley cup. Myfirends were inside but they said they wouldn't let me in cus they were full. Told them my friends and I would never be back and s far we havent.

But I probably should go again cus they were damn good wings!

Maybe next Monday I'll head down there!

Hey Playa...

Okay lets see...

In a 'favorite wing night' post you decide to roll your eyes, slam your head against a wall, click on a sign telling me to speak English, and then throw in a devil whipping circle to cap it off.

Dude your game is whack, I aint heard a word you said.

K, enough with the flaming. So what if he starts off a post with "Hey Playa.." thats what he does. If your not a mod, then dont complain about it. And its a thread about chicken wings, not correcting a persons choice of words. :closed:

Even though I hate that you start every fucking thread with "Hey playa" I will help you out.

Regal has wing night on Sat, Mon, Wed: 15c wings, all really good
and then on Tue, Thur they have pork rib tips for 20c. Those are also really good.

The guy that "works" at Classic Jack's is one of the owners, Ernie Tsu. The majority owner is George H. I can't spell his last name because it is long and very Greek, his sister is pretty hot though.

This thread was almost dead...

This week me and some friends decided to switch it up from the usual Limericks/Kilkenny routine and went to Bubblemania... big mistake.

Service was terrible, drinks were damn expensive, and the place was a mess. The wings were good but they took forever to come, plus there was only one server for the whole place.

I would definetely not recommend going there on a Monday night. Other that the atmosphere was pretty cool. We were the only white people in the place which was fine, there was constant trance music pumping which was kind of a enjoyable change from the norm.

I wouldn't go back there however.

Black Swan! Best variety and special wings. Every Wednesday they have a new feature wing that opens your eyes to change.

I discovered an awesome chicken wing website -> www.hotwings.ca <- has all or most of Calgary's restaurants serving up wings. It looks like they're expanding but Calgary is the most populated.

wow, holy thread from the dead!

you say they have good variety there, but what about the qulaity? i've been there once and was highly dissapointed by the food quality (all totally frozen, i might as well eat at COSTCO) and beer selection (especially since they call themselves an "alehouse.")

but maybe they have good wings :dunno:

Ya, it's had bad days... for sure. nothing that ever turned me off for good (yet). last time we went there was in august and the wings were good. I didn't find the quality sub standard per se - but then again the 4.5 beers may have drowned my senses :bigpimp:. as for the beer selection, agreed - it's noting to wite me Irish granny 'boot... Try the wildwood for beers.

Rusty Cage has some interesting flavours of wings, I always enjoy going to the south cage location. Dixon's wings used to be decent but now they're meh and it's usually stupid busy on wing night but that's no real surprise haha

Regal Beagle has the best wings I've ever tasted. It's because they grill them after they sauce 'em up.

Also good wings can be found at Eds on the corner of 17th Ave and McLeod across from the Casino.
