Hey all, I was wondering if there was anyone out there that would like to go for a spirited run against my 330cic. No fuck it, no beating around the bush...I want to race an E46 M3, we can hook up and do it somewhere safe out of traffic and maybe one evening or late. I just need to know. :D

My buddy Jasmain would prolly go for a run with you in his M3. Does it help that he also races cars in Brunei? :dunno:

Omes' car is pushing around 300 HP give or take. Stock either of those E36s wouldn't be much of a test.

:dunno: there are tons of M3 on the roads (and young drivers ).. if you wants to race with anyone .. I am sure not hard to find ..

but .. asking people to race with you on the street .. sound a bit weird .. and it is Winter now ...

Just go Race City !

Anyway .. let us know how close you can chase a Stock E46 M3 ! should be pretty close ! :)

I'm pretty sure Will's car will make Omes' look slow.

Will's car pushes out 480hp, but weighs 3700lbs. It's still pulls on my 3200lb 410hp SLK 32, which eats up stock E46 M3's.

That'll keep you bench racers busy!

The best part of it all is Will didn't have to pay $5K USD for a pulley :poosie:

Whoa....i was figuring i better break out the nomex on this one but, I am a responsible adult and not interested in hurting myself or anyone else, race city was definitely my first option but they are closed for the season. Just thought another responsible adult would be interested in a couple of safe pulls maybe out by Chestermere, I know a few spots. Maybe i am an idiot but I don't know anyone who owns an M3 or I would have just asked them. BTW I am putting down about 330rwhp and ya if I went up against Big Willy Style : bigpimp; all I would probably see is his license plate....mind you not after next winters mods:devil:

Thanks all for the replys. I guess I will just have to wait.

:dunno: stock is 321 HP add a couple goodies say maybe 10-20 Hp then divide by 15% for drivetrain loss.

Just a guess on the numbers though

Nothing bad in it. Its just the truth and truth hurts, but dont worry spend some time and money and you can make people talk about your car like that as well.

That is fair, but 2 completely different cars. The E46 with OBD2 is not nearly as friendly as the E36 OBD1. I have been reluctant to mod further without some kind of engine management control. I have researched this thoroughly and would mack right out with higher boost, port and polished head, cams, forged pistons ect...In fact I already have the shopping list and parts sourced and priced. The problem is the ECU. Unichip has in development a piggyback for the bmw ecu and a good friend of mine has actually acquired a distributorship for them. When that is ready to go 400+ rwhp is definitely within reach. Respectfully, once I get my LSD installed there won't be too many E46's around that will be of any challenge.
Sorry for the pissing contest, I should have gone about this a different way.
I don't track, well not yet anyways, and have hardly ever raced...even though I get challenged by every ricer at every stop light. I do this cuz I enjoy it and want my car to be all that it can be, and not for applause on the net from people I have never met nor probably ever meet, I do enjoy the compliments though and being stealthy has always been a priority for me.

Mad props to Big Willy Style, his car is what all other E36 verts should be measured against. It is a beautiful beast. With time, education, patience and $ I hope to get to that at an E46 level.

Omar you know what your car would do to an E46 M3:whipped: , once you get ahold of proper engine management and can run more boost safely(not that I think what you have is safe... ) it should be that much more impressive.

Will's car is at another level altogether  although I still think its missing a couple of cylinders
