Maclaren F1 1/4 mile time?

I always thought it would do 13.1 at best.

1/4 mile isn't all that impressive, but its accelleration from 0-60 and 100-200 is VERY impressive, haha

Its Not, for a million and a half dollar car, its not that quick, if I recall its around the same as that of a Porsche GT2.

Maybe even slower (its fast, but not in retrospect to other cars like drag cars and such. It is ment for quick accelleration out of corners and stuff, while its moving.

Im pretty sure ive read the Mclaren F1 can do 11.7 in the 1/4 mile..dont Qoute me on that....In my newest Motor Trend from last year the Lamborghini Diablo was tested at 3.4 seconds and 11.8 at 120 mph.....the Mclaren is pretty damn close to that.

Latest R&T tested the McLaren F1 at [email protected]. They tested a F40, McLaren F1 and a Porsche 959.

I just posted the first result from google =) but upon searching for more results, most of them are in the 11.6 - 11.7 range. The 11.1@138mph was listed as a '94 while the 11.6 - 11.7 numbers are from a '97 mclaren. Was '94 the first year they came out?

Never really knew anything about it to start with I guess.
We just had a new member join my car club, and he drives a 550hp R34 Skyline. He lives in England, here's a pic of it:

Anyways, he told me his worst loss was to a Mclaren F1, and I just found it hard to believe. I guess Mclarens are faster than I thought...

*Edit* The parts list on this thing is a mile long, let's just say its loaded with Trust, HKS, and Nismo parts:)
