I'm thinking of buying a MP3 player, not the CD players that will play MP3 cd's, the ones that just play mp3's. I have been to future shop and a&b both of them have shitty selection and stock, anyone have any recomendations of a good MP3 player and a place to get one?

The iPod now comes in 5GB, 10GB and 20GB models. So whatever the size of your library of CDs — or the breadth of your musical tastes — there’s an iPod that fits your requirements. The new 20GB model, for instance, holds an astonishing 4,000 songs. The 10GB model has been redesigned to be even thinner. And the 5GB model is now priced at just $299. All three models let you rock out for 10 hours on a full battery, and all three are now available to both Mac and Windows users.

yeh.. storage you cant bit the Ipod ( well and size too..)
but if you want it as small as possible, MuVo is definitly a good one to look at

I have a panasonic cd-based MP3 player. I like it a lot more than the 64mb RIO i had.

Mostly because it's easier and cheaper(time wise) to burn a CD than it is to actually pick out what songs you want to cram into the small storage the solid state players have.

the ipod of course is the ideal solution, it's just expensive, and i don't even have 5gb of music stored, and am not about to mp3 all of my cd's.

Rio sucks my cock, i have like 2 and they both broke on me. plus they are internal memory so not expandable....suck major cock and their wires are so cheaply designed after a while they break from the inside....
