spedometer

just wondering if anyone has any clue why my spedometer isn't working somtimes, it seems like its only when it gets really cold and it usually kicks back in after a few mins, and i know 93 civics don't use cables, so if anyone has any ideas where to start or try to get it working let me know, thanks

fucked up speed sensor.

or since its intermittent, maybe a loose wire or dirty contacts in the speed sensors circuit.

ok

1. find speed sensor. i dunno where it is on your car. ask your repair manual. somewhere on the tranny im guessing.

2. take it off.

3. spray electrical contact cleaner all over the contacts

4. look for loose wiring.

5. check sensor operation. again ask the repair manual.

6. put everything back together.
