1985 geo metro automatic towed by rv

I want to tow my 1986 geo metro 3 cylinder automatic behind my RV. Will that harm it?

If your in neutral i cant see why it would, people do it all the time, i could be wrong though...:dunno:

I heard once before, that putting a car in neutral when its an auto while moving can be badd. But i see people towin what looks to be autos all the time, with the front wheels still on the ground. Been looking on the net, but i cant seem to find anything, except that the oil pump for the transmission wont be on, and that could be badd. :dunno:
