does kodak actually make them?

can you provide more details of the dye?

The package has the kodak label on them. The DVD's dont say anything except for a few numbers on the inside disc.

I tried one in my DVD player and it worked fine.

I'm not really sure if that answered your question though....let me know if you need any more info.

memory express sells 50 for $38.47 including tax, and those are ritek brand, pretty much the best dvd-rs you can buy. might have better luck with a lower price.

yea, dont wanna whore but i believe FUtureshop was selling 100 kodak for less than 40 dollars a while ago, didnt buy em cuz there shit for discs. Go with Ritek as mentioned above Just My opinion...

Future shop was selling 100 kodak discs for $70 + tax, not $40.

The 50 disc pack of kodak sells for $49.99.

If you do the math I am making a whopping $2.60 on my discs and someone is saving themselves $13.50 on a 50 pack. I dont think the price is unreasonable at all.

its not unreasonable compared to future shop. but unfortunately future shop is a rip off for dvd-rs. i was just saying you might have better luck selling if you dont try to make any on them and try and match some other prices around town, cause most dont just shop at future shop.

As far as I know, whatever disc you buy has to match your burner. On my laptop, the sticker says DVD-R so that is what I bought. I dont think DVD+R would work since that is what it says. I could be mistaken though....

RW
and Compact Disc Rewritable....

Hmm...I'm not sure. Maybe go on their website and see what disc format they use. You could also try reading the manual or calling tech support as well.

Mostly support. When you burn/copy a DVD movie for example, your DVD player will only support one or the other.

Most(newer) DVD players support both media types. DVD-R was first to come along and DVD+R came along later by companies that did not want to pay royalties.
The DVD-R format is the official format of the DVD Forum, and is the only one branded with the "DVD" logo.

In general -R has better compatablility with players but +R will still play in many.

You can find everything here.

Oh and in regards to the xbox, it depends on the drive you have, samsung are the best and read burned dvd's with much more success than the others. The others were built really cheap, probably with the hope they would not be able to read burned discs.
