i just pulled a 305 and am going to put it in my 79 chevy 4x4. will this be powerfull enough and would it sound good with the flowmaster 40 series i already have?

depends on the engine. If it's a clean running engine you'll have power, but not as much compared to the YJ's runnig 350's under the hood. :burnout:

what do you mean 40 in mud terrains? Like 40" tires?

If its a stock 305 4bbl with high km.. it wont have enough jam to spin 40's unless you get some good gearing in there. 350's are a little more typically than 305's but worth the money for sure.

any small block will sound good through 40 series flowmasters
(such as the 406 in my nova  ) what size pipes do you have? I'm running dual 3". I love the sound! :poosie:
