Tired of watching downloaded TV series and movies on a small pc monitor.

I need a labtop with video output (Composit or S-video), So I can watch my downloaded stuffs on a big TV screen

Need to have a USB plug so I can plug in my external harddrive containing my downloaded stuffs.

Please list what you have here. I browsed through many pages on this forum but most labtops are not listed with video output info.

Thanks for all your help!

i think almost all laptops have video-out, therefore no one ever lists this feature

even my pIII 500 compaq has video out

Some of the older ones do not have TV out, so if you are selling a labtop that has TV out and a USB drive (for external harddrive connection), please let me know, thanks!

Budget is under $500, the cheaper the better, I just need it for playing movies.

S-video port is ROUND with 4 tiny holes and one retangular hole (correct me if I'm wrong pls)

S-video plug looks like this: http://www.partsexpress.com/images/180-141m.jpg

kenc...here you can buy a video card with video out, its called s-video, its a cord in which transfers high quality video. Go to memory express, and ask for a video card in which supports video out, put that in your current machine, then buy an s-video cord, and run it to your tv, your tv must support s-video thou.!!

you can buy a decent graphics card for your computer, then you can run an svid and audio to your tv, or some will also have composit video.... (my card has both, and i have the composit hooked up to a box that changes it to reg cable (ch3), then in to the splitter in the basement, so i can watch tv off my comp in any room in my house (4 tvs)... and the main one uses svid
