Drink Recipes !

Name a few drinks you think taste the best, and for what type of atmosphere? :) As well as whats in them :)

Lately I've found the joys of Vodka and Sprite, or, Vodka - Lime juice - 7-up...orrr...Vodka + home made lemonade (sugar + lemon juice, squeezed, not the store bought bottled juice..+ some water) for parties where you want to get drunk but take your time gettin' there :)

orrr...Bourbon and coke isn't too bad....for chilling out with a few people, beer works, too..

Some of the other milder drinks I enjoy for get togethers where you don't want to get wasted....Pena Collada (sp?) - Strawberry Dacari's...and the like :)

Rum...:barf: Bad experience with that noise :(

pina colada's are good: pinapple juice, cocunut, cream, rum, blended in ice
paralizer-coke, milk, kahlua/vodka(black russian mix)
belini's(peach): white wine or champagne, white rum, peach schnapps, cherry brandy soemtimes, peach slushy mix
pinapple malibu-self explanatory
singapore sling-gin, orange juice, lemon juice, cherry brandy and grenadine
tequila sunrise: orange juice, tequila, grenadine
and margaritas (tequila and fruit mix) are good fruity drinks my g/f likes.

long island iced teas, (coke, lime, splash of iced tea, tequila, gin, triple sec, vodka, rum
gin and tonic(glows in the dark), or my fav rye and coke
ceasars(invented here in 1969)-vodka, worchester, tabasco, clamato juice celery salt and salt and pepper

if you like martini's a chocolate martini is good-premium vodka and creme de cacao

after eight-creme de cacoa/creme de menth
gladiator-amareto drooped in oj(drop shot)
and many more

you say u like daquiri's but not rum? thats the alcohol in them

I havn't had a daquiri since I drank too much rum one night. All I've had since that night was vodka, whisky, bourbon and beer :| Not all mixed of course....

Thanks for the recipe's - Havin' a party later on this week and would like to be able to mix a few things up instead of just drinking straight shit like all my friends do :| Odd bunch..

Bacardi Limon and OJ (or coke)
Gladiators (see above, just guess when making a full drink)

In my opinion there nothin like a "monkeys lunch":
one part milk, one part banana liquer, one part kahlua. use about 1 ounce total of liquer...Dont have too many though, that milk can be bad news, for some...

'Jim Beam and gingerale' is another favorite, good for tastin great while getting you hosed!

and of course, locally brewed 'Bigrocks Grasshopper' is a beauty.

favorite drink is a double white rum (bacardi preferrably) and coke

BEST SHOT: TEQUILA SLAMMERS:

-u need a double shot glass
-fill one shot equivalence with tequila
-fill one shot equivalence with sprite
-top with grenadine
now cover the top of the shot glass with your hand, slam the mother fucker down on the table (dont break glass) and take it back.

peppermint stick:

creme de mint and thick cream, the thicker the better.
half de mint and half cream.

tastes pretty good. will not get you drunk but they are nice.

add some red cake dressing to the sides of the shot glass and you now have a candy cane.

good for a party drink if you have guests over for the holidays.

A great party drink

stoli's rasberry vodka
1 can of minute maid fruit punch juice ( your choice, try and make sure it has either strawberry or rasberry in it)

put in blender ( the frozen juice)
add about 10.oz vodka ( or more... like all)
add some ice cubes ( 6 or so)
blend
add some a bit of orange juice or some fruit juice while blending if you need to
line up the martini glasses
go to town.
these are real good. stick the stolis in the freezer a few hours prior to using it.

olde joe:

used this one to use up the coffee in the coffee machine at the bar I worked at.

old / cold coffee from your coffee machine say 2-3 cups
ice (say 6 cubes or so)
bit of bailies ( 5 oz or so)
bit of kaluha (3 oz or so)
bit of triple sec ( 2 oz or so if you have it.)
some vodka ( just to kick it up a tad .... bout 3 oz or more)
Milk ( thicker the better) say 3 -4 cups
blend it all up.
If it tastes too strong, add milk, too weak... you know.....

serve and smile. they can taste like frapachinos
play with the measurements, i never have measured these exactly. i made it up many many years ago when in the bar industry. They are good.
they taste good and will keep you awake!
