ok i had a set of pioneer 6.5's in my crx and they were ok,not great but not totally bad.

if you can afford it i would go with infinity prefect speakers or if you are looking for something a little less pricey i would go with panasonic or rockford.

pioneer subs rn't that bassy, they sound good for the price tho, they're not as bad as xplod, not as good as alpines...if u want boom i'd say go for an alpine...based on my own experience.

the Pioneer TS-2000WSPL or what the model number is, is an amazing sub for the money. You can find them for $80usd used and the two I heard in a ported box were sooo loud and clear (a magazine metered the max spl as 129.8dB, the JL W7 only got 131). They are great subs. Their other stuff, like the stuff Future Shop has (the regular Pioneers)... not so good.

I had 2 10" Pioneer IMPP Gold Series Subs and they were pretty damn good.
Was very impressed with them.
