just an fyi, pocket bikes are not street legal so you can't ride it on the street with your license anyway. take it to a parking lot and have fun there. or join the amra and go racing with it.

word of advice for people riding pocketbikes and minibikes on the street.

if a cop stops you, and he wants to be a dickhead, he'll give you one hell of a ticket.

guess what that ticket will be for? no insurance. if you dont have a vehicle insured (even if it's not registerable) they can give you a $1500 ticket. havent had it happen to me, but I have liability on my minibike anyway.

Thats what he said, its unregisterable but you still need to get insurance and thats why you would get the huge ass ticket. I know I have a hole shit load of mods to my scooter and its no longer legal (such as a 70cc big bore kit) but I still insured it as the 49 cc Yamaha Zuma it used to be. They cant tell you have a bigger motor unless they plan on taking your bike apart right there.

i got pulled pulled over three times for rippin around on my pocket bike with street glow. They pretty much stood there and laughed. but one cop like inspected my bike and shit, made sure it was 49cc. i was riding on the pathway. told the cop it was a scooter engine, but you do need a helmet. no riding on the road and slow down when other people are around. He then signed me up for some super kids shit cause i had my helmet on. hahahah. if he gives you a ticket just take it to court. nothing to worry about. i looked it all up and the cop even told me himself i was legit.
