Buy RSX or Eclipse

I'm having troubles deciding whether or not i should buy a RSX 2004 or Eclipse 2004. Which one should I get and why. They are both very similar.

Personal opinion i like RSX better. Looks of it, i dont like canadian eclipse at all unless its a spyder.

rsx, they were similar, right up until the eclipse made me puke, plus then you have more aftermarket options

RSX, but here's why.

The main reason for staying away from Mitsu right now is that they are having some type of financial problems. If Mitsu decides to leave next year, you are stuck with an eclipse that cannot be serviced under warranty nor is there any support for your vehicle. As bad as it sounds, Mitsu is one company i'd stay away from until their financial issues have been sorted out.

Honda, on the other hand, is pretty much here to stay - for a while, anyways.

Yeah, RSX-S for sure. The new Eclipse is sooo ugly. I'd rather have the gen before this one if you HAD to pick an Eclipse.

Personally, I would never buy either of the two. I find both RSX and Eclipse look crappy and there are better choices out there for the price (WRX is only a little bit more...)

If you are set on these 2, then I would go with the RSX. It was said before, parts are easier to get. Also, I find the handling is much better on the RSX compared to the Eclipse. Finally, honda gear box has no competition (6 speed too).

Neither. Hondas & Acuras are bland, bland, bland, and I don't see that changing any time soon. The current Eclipse looks Pontiac ugly.

Save your money until the 2006 Eclipse comes out (Mitsu isn't going anywhere) or the SRT-4 replacement which is rumored to be a turbocharged & AWD collaboration between Chrylser and Mitsubishi.
