Titanium con rods and a dry sump system.... that thing is gonna be nuts... I love how pissed off it looks with the hood intake and the rear brake ducts! (yes I know the old Zo6 had the brake ducts but this looks more seemlessly integrated). Did they make it a widebody? :burnout: :burnout: :burnout:

That thing is awesome - again it borrows a lot from the Viper but that's only fair because the Viper borrows from classic vettes

500 HP??

This is definately going to be a killer machine. Refer to my post about the 405HP ZO6 I got to play around with to see how badly I crapped myself when I so much as breathed on the gas pedal!

Update from another forum:

Someone on DC just stated his source confirmed the above specs of the car and said that everything seems to be on target except for the TQ number, which should be 500 instead of 475.

For the current thread.

I don't like it. Could be better... but I think it's just the pic. I don't like the black linings on the headlights either. Seems to ruin the look of the front end.

who cares what the front end looks like? not like anyone is gonna ever see that part of the car :burnout:

Very sexy car, still don't know about the paint beneath the lenses on certain colors, it would look good on black obviously.

6-piston front and 4-piston rear calipers
• Cross-drilled rotors

nice.

• Aluminum engine block with 104.8-mm bores and pressed-in liners

factory sleeves.

• Forged steel crankshaft with 101.6-mm stroke

Forced induction ready?

• 6-bolt, forged steel main bearing caps

beefy.

• Titanium connecting rods

bust the bank.

• Cast aluminum flat-top pistons

grrrr...wieght saving but at what cost?

• Racing-derived CNC-ported aluminum cylinder heads with 70-cc chambers

racing derrived...always a good thing.

• 56mm titanium intake valves

save some upgrading money. Must run hot.

• 41mm sodium-filled exhaust valves

must run really hot. Import turbo cars had this over 15 years ago.

• 11.0:1 compression ratio

what would u expect?

• Composite manifold with 90 mm single-bore throttle body

yum yum 90mm

• Camshaft with 15-mm (.591-inch) lift

aftermaket will be better

• Dry-sump oiling system

good start.

• 7000-rpm redline

Thats a pretty high redline for 8 cyl. Thus the beefy valves. No mention of the springs stats though.

WEIGHT: 3130lbs/1420kg

good wieght for a car that size.

500hp/475lb-ft torque.

they did good. :hitit:
