Looking for any reasonable trades for my 1997 Chev Blazer LS..
4.3 Vortec motor w/ 205,000km's
New waterpump, cap and rotor, msd 6a, b&m shift improver
Toyo Open Country AT tires (85% tread remain)
4wd
power windows, a/c, cruise, remote doorlocks/starter/alarm
Heavy load suspension option (stiffer suspension)
white exterior, grey interior
Body and interior are basically in excellent condition.. no rust or dents.. interior has to rips or stains..
The only issue with the vehicle is the gas gauge.. common problem with the blazers.. fuel sender goes flakey and sometimes the gauge will bounce around.. aside from that, there are no issues that need attention.. oil has been changed every 3000kms
While I love the blazer, my job has me driving around quite a bit.. I would prefer a replacement vehicle that will offer me better gas mileage than what I am seeing now (18mpg average in the city, aprox 24mpg on the highway)..
If you own a vehicle that gets reasonably good gas mileage, has reasonable trunk space and is not a beater, and have been looking into getting an SUV, let me know and maybe we can work something out..
