What! No love for Supercuts?

hahaha

I myself go to the Barber Shop in McKenzie Town.

Used to be an Angles Regular, but got a better haircut for way less at the barber shop, so I figured it was pointless to be a lable whore when it comes to getting my hair done...it's not like I have some exquisite hair style or something that only the baller styalists can do, haha.

I get my hair done privately by a really good free lance/retired hair stylist.

I disagree.

Hair is great. You can dye it, cut it different lengths, curl it, straighten it, wave it, and if you don't like the look simply add some extensions.

A new haircut can totally change the look cuz there are millions of color combinations.

And it's fun! One day you can be a blonde, the next a red head, and then a brunette.

and hair is almost always a good indication of what a someone's personality might be like.

Omar kicks ass. I like the old school feel of sitting around in the waiting area and having a conversation with the barbers and the guys in the chair.

However, when I have the time I got to Fred or Nathan at Diva Mount Royal.

Omar is cool shit but his shop is always super busy with people waiting for him and only him. And the other people there usually suck and thats why everyone wants Omar.

So now I go to Michelle D'Suki in the DEvenish building on 17th or Diva Dave on 4th St. I guess you get what you pay for.

I go to this lady whos retired as well. She has lots of time and is a professional. So i can get exactly what i want. And not like other places where they want you to get the fuck off their chair and let other fuckers sit so that even they can get the fuck off it and more can come.

My aunt has owned her own salon in Didsbury ever since I can remember...haha if I feel like it I can drive the hour to get out there but I get elaborate coloring and cutting/styling for free and I get to go visit with my aunt for an afternoon :)

If it's just a trim or whatever I'm not too picky where I go. The last time I had a haircut it was on a stage at the women's show by some guy who any hair dresser I've ever talked to since said "oooh you got so and so to cut your hair...you're so lucky!" I have no idea what is so special about this guy but I did like my haircut he gave me alot. :)

come to think of it, im gonna go get a haircut right now. haha.

Just curious. Do the hair salon charge for hair wash or is it included??? I'm gonna get a haircut tomorrow but will probably need hair washed since I have gel in hair.

 wouldn't you know if you cut ur hair so often?

It completely depends on the salon. Some cheap ones will just spray your hair down with water. Others charge for the wash as they call it a 'wash and style' and others have it included in the price.

going to a specific expensive salon is useless. i can get picky about how my hairs are cut, so once i find a good stylist, i stick with them wherever they go.

I cut my own hair....my hair style isn't too extravagant. #2 on the sides, top, and back.

Takes me a total of 15 minutes.

First Choice. $13 w/o wash for guys. I too think hair is over-rated, but am glad I have a full head of it at 27yrs. I'd shave my head (like #1 with the clippers), but my mom thinks it makes me look like a criminal!:guns:
