i just wanted to know if the owner was here.

i was driving along glenmore last night at around 10:15 pm with 2 passengers then when i passed this celica. i guess he thought i'd wanna race or something so he downshifted and did a lil fly by and cut a couple of people off to get ahead. so he slowed down so i can catch up and i saw my exit coming ahead. i thought i'd make him look like an idiot by making him think that i wanted to race. so i downshifted and honked at him and he looked like he was ready to go for it....and i don't know why he looked so pissed off??? haha, so i honked the horn then as he thought i was gonna go for it, i exited off glenmore. i had 2 other people in my car and we were all pointing and laughing at him.

anyway, i just wanted to see if he's here cuz he's "kool!"...hehe nice celica though...looks nice (sorry no pix, we were caught in the moment laughing)

ah hehe alright. well, seemed like a fly by 'cause you shifted down and went by me pretty fast. uhh who in the right frame of mind would run w/ 2 passengers on 'em especially if the 2 cars are almost similar in perfomance? anyway, mah bad if i've offended you, i just wanted to get a good look of your car but u sped up. nice ride though, what mods do you have and what kit did you have on?

oh yah, i geared down cuz i was just cruising on 6th gear and i had to downshift to 3rd so i can catch up...also, i had 2 passengers weighing at around 190 lbs each haha lol.

I down shifted cuz 4th gear up a hill aint gettin me quick anywhere.

I have cold air intake n catback exhaust. Its jus the wings west lip kit Wit c/f hood and hid's on eibach springs.

was ur type s stock?

yah i was on 6th gear lol...yah, my rsx-s is stock, just got comptech lowering springs. i'm not planning to mod it anymore cuz i'm now debating between an IS300 or an SRT-4 haha...

i haven't raced a stock GTS yet but how much hp does the intake and the catback add on?

that'd be a drivers race probably...neither one of the cars has any tourque, so off the line it'd be like slow vs slow...RSX should take it in the quarter though, more top end, also if you look at a dyno graph for a celica GTS it is pretty much a power spike in the last 1000rpm that gets it to the peak HP...the RSX's curve is at least a little more gradual than that.

Yeah, RSX-S vs. GTS is definitely in the hands of the drivers. I kinda raced civic_rida when I took black94gt for a spin in my car. I was ahead of him the whole race but it wasn't really a good one.

We'll have to do it from a stand still and not a roll on the highway, lol.

I think the rsx has a better power band due to the 2 litre.
But if we would of started at a higher speed it might of been closer.
