What does everyone collect

Hey, just thought Id start a thread (sorry if re-post, although im unaware of a previous similar post) but just wondering what people collect? Personally ive got a collection of beer bottles, shot glasses and flasks from around the world, and I collect beer bottle caps (im going to make a custom table from the caps eventually).

I just started collecting Led Zeppelin bootleg cd's. I have 13 so far. But its turning out to be kind of an expensive thing to collect :(

I used to collect guitars then I got married! then I sold a couple of them for a downpayment on our house. I now only a have a couple of my favs. ah well being married is better anyways! :thumbsup:

However I still have me comic book collection!

I "collect" DVD''s, movie scripts and scenes. I don't consider it collecting in the traditional sense because I actually use them as well, I don't just put em in special covers and let them collect dust.

If you mean collect as in stamps, coins, butterflies and stickers etc, I don't collect any of that...it's clutter to me.. :D

As bad as this might get me flamed, my grandfather started buying me those special edition holiday barbies and my parents never let me open them. I've been getting them since like 1992 and they're all in the boxes still. Some of them are worth huge cash now, who knew? :dunno:

They're from BMW. They have a huge catalog of diecasts. I couldn't find them anywhere else(of similar quality). Minichamps makes the M3GTR's.


Yeah... most of them are pretty expensive(at around $100CDN each.)

I grabbed a few of them from hobby shop's for much less though with the same P/N as the ones in the BMW catalog. They're just hard to find sometimes.

Got a bicentennial 50 cent piece tonight. 50 cents, and was discontinued a while ago. The coolest thing is the bicentennial, it was minted in 1976 so it's a special one that says 1776-1976 on the front. Neat, IMO.:)

1/18th Scale Diecast Models only (Working on Pics/List) Currently have an offer from some guy, he has 3-35 1/18's so i think I will be picking those up, but this is turning into an expensive hobby :S

Still have my POG, Pokemon, Magic Card collection :P, and Pins :D:D, anyone want them?


I need your opinion on the diecast's, you guys think I should leave them on the bases they came with, or take them off? I don't like the idea of people playing with them, and I got some good spots righ tnow for some with bases but I'm consdering takeing a few off their bases, what you think?

LOL, I wish I could say my collection was as extensive, but since I live in such a small apartment, my storage space is limited so I only have about 30 or so here. The rest are at my parent's house from when I was a kid somewhere collecting dust unfortunately; the ones I have are more recent. Nice set of Prime's you've got going there... 20th Anniversary Edition is by far the best out of all of them. Wish I could open up the packages for them, but until I get a display cabinet, they shall remain in their original packages. :D

No I got it from someone it the states, still waiting for it to be delivered. There is a guy in Calgary who sells them, Simply Golf. They will completely custom fit one for you for around $400. IMO they are the best putters on the market right now.

Yeah thats the thing, the japanese versions are a bit different. The guy who makes the American versions doesn't believe in "inserts".
