Haven't heard much about them. Nothing too special though. Its not the same engine as the AE86 if thats what you are looking for. This is FWD too

my cousin has the same car. its reliable i know that. his is an 89 gt-s has 240,000 km i believe.

its good and reliable....the engine is the 4age, just a fuel injected and front wheel drive version.
the corolla gt-s comes with 115hp stock, 100 lbft of torque and it has four wheel discs....redline 7500rpm
i have an sr5 for the winter, its like the economical version of the car and i like it alot. i think i might keep it for next winter as well, since the car has no indications whatsoever of goin out.
the only thing i dont like is the car leans alot when braking hard, which is beacuse of the suspension.

that guy did a lot of work putting together a decent site.
They're very good cars for a daily driver and winter driving, rock solid reliable too. If you want a fun drift machine though, this isn't it, look at the previous generation:)

but the ae92 gts has a good engine, newer 4age with a couple minor changes...
