I personally don't see them being very popular. Very interesting tread on the tires.:dunno:

I dont think it will sell that well either! It basiclly is a Pilot with a truck bed on it! But i am pretty sure it is cheaper than one

Depends man, the Japanese manufacturers are making graet trucks, Toyota and Nissan for example, I wouldn't be suprised if it did OK.

Those high box walls will make it unpractical for throwing things over the top.

The interior is pretty bare.

The conecpt was ok but take away the showy interior, this truck has worth nothing but the Honda badge.

But I also said Pilot was gonna flop but soccer moms just lap it up. So I'm sure it'll sell.

I would have thought Honda would make a more basic truck for their entry into the truck market - instead it looks like they are going for a niche right away? Oh well, it looks alright - very Avalanche-ish.

Haven't seen one in real life, but I can't say I like the pictures too much. The angled box rails are retarded.

Priced at $34K up to $43K fully loaded.

So it's sorta priced in line with mid-size trucks like:

Toyota Tacoma 4x4 Double Cab V6
Dodge Dakota 4X4 Quad Cab ST
Nissan Frontier 4X4 Crew Cab V6

All are similar is power, size and price.

But those are real trucks while Honda Ridgeline isn't.

Ridgeline does have a full size interior and a few nifty ideas like a trunk and tailgate that swings both way.

Terrible idea, I hope it does worse than that Honda SUV they sold back in the early 90s.

Imo It's not even a truck. It's unibody for Gods sake.
A truck has a frame pure and simple, this thing is a suv gone awry.
