I think thats a LOT of money for a 14 year old domestic vehicle that carries little prestige, build quality, or reliability.

Those Irocs are getting scarce so whether you like em or not they're gonna be going up in price. 8gs is alot though unless the thing is mint. I had a Vette with the same power pak and it was a screamer. Couple mods and they go like hell, if you can afford the gas. But I wouldn't pay over 5gs for it, and I'm a sucker for third gens.

the only way i could see it being worth 8 g is if it had <100k on both body and engine, zero rust, zero dings, new paint, rims, stereo, suspension etc etc. i'd tell him to stay clear if it didnt at least have what i mentioned above
