new car with power

i currently have a 2002 lancer and in the spring i am buying a new car right now im thinking srt-4 or a RSX i want a car that comes stock with power and you can add more and still have a trustworthy car any input would be great or if you think of a better car please let me know thanks erik

RSXS isnt a bad choice...srt4 is pretty sweet adn u can do certain mods that wont void the warranty, except im kinda weary bout it , since its domestic. nissan sentra se-r spec v is a prettysweet car aswell. what is ur price range ?

I love my spec V, its great, handles well, lots of torque, good stock stereo.

Bad on gas, notchy gearbox, otherwise Id buy another one.

i have an '03 rsx-s and i love it...but i got it before i even heard of the srt-4 though. the srt-4 is fast as heck but really ugly in my opinion. though not as fast, i'm still happy with my rsx-s. :)

why dont you EVOLVE your lancer...sell your lancer and EVOLVE into something better... its some driving EVOLUTION, maybe you need to think of the number VIII.

im sure you could drop in a an older 4g63 for cheap. Then you'd have to price out a tranny and some other unique items.. but that would trulty evolve your lancer..

but I vote RSX... if you want a car with good stock power, and a car with a high tuning potential. RSX is a good choice

Does any one Like mustangs?. They are fairly good for power even with a stock 4.6 v8. Thats what i think. You can get Lots of mods. But I really dont have any idea what kind of cars you are talking about.

If you want a fast as hell car...it's always easy to buy a 1st gen DSM for next to nothing, and it's rediculous how easy and cheap it is to make them fast! especially on the strip!
with 10K you can have a nice street sleeper....with 20+ your looking at a sick little DSM:thumbsup:

P.S. or do what I did...buy JDM baby!
seriously...175hp/163tq factory turbo intercooled in a tight little RWD package aint bad to start with...and after shipping and ALL costs...i still havent gone further than $6500.... now if my car would only GET HERE ALREADY lol man the waiting will drive you bonkers:banghead:

you want a fast car get the srt-4 and mod it, itll still be under wuarantee. you want a car that handle in winter get a subaru legacy 2.5gt or a rex

btw: I was reading somewhere that although SRT-4 can be modded and still under wuarantee, but if the dealer has reason to beleive that it has been driven excesivly hard they can still void it. Dont know how much truth there is to that though..
