lol even if it was, it kinda looks funny.

I don't see why it wouldn't be possible if someone could splice the brake line...

Looks odd. Other than that, looks like it would be a pretty nice Passat

yup its possible! im not sure but from what i have been told is the second caliper is set up to "moch" the first one. its connected via a steel line and when the first caliper clamps down the second one does as well due to the tension provided by the first one.

but dont quote me on that...

that setup has been used on some series of motorsports. I remember reading that the dual caliper setup allows for a more even grip on the rotor during braking (ie: both sides of the rotor) thus increasing braking capability. You also see this setup on the rear of some cars, but the secondary caliper is used for e-brake purposes i believe.

Yep, the 360 has a second brembo caliper for the e-brake.

on the ferarri, is that just to prevent damaging the rotor after hot lapping?

No, if you use the e-brake after a bunch of hard laps, the rotor could still potentially warp from uneven cooling with the tiny e-brake caliper gripping the rotor. The second brembo caliper is there probably just so the main caliper doesn't need to clamp the rotor for the e-brake. Less stress on the main brakes... it must have some sort of positive outcome.
