Wouldn't touch that with a forty foot pole.

asking $800.00 obo for an 1987 Honda Civic hatchback 1.3l 5spd, very economical...good winter putter for sure...assembled from 2 vehicles so lots of parts can come with it!

I've got a rusty '85 Toyota Tercel, 2 door 4 speed, you can have for $100.

It runs and drives great and the tires are in good shape, starts first try in -30, but it has a brake fluid leak (I think it's the master cylinder), it needs a passenger window and the exhaust has a hole in it. Burns some oil too, but nothig major.

You can get both the window and the master cylinder from Pick-Your-Part for $35... I checked. The exhaust just needs a patch kit from Canadian Tire, about $15.

If you give it a little elbow grease, which is the only option if you can't afford a better car, it would make a decent winter car.

As far as passing inspection, that depends on who you take it to. Private garages are usually more merciful than places like Fountain Tire and Canadian Tire.

It also comes with '87 Celica seats... much more comfortable.

PM me by Thursday if interested.... Friday, it goes to the wrecker.
