Ladies and Gentleman,

Today is a big day for Alberta Politics. Every single person here is affected by the decisions that our Provincial Government makes every day, whether they be health, education, infrastructure, or social program funding.

We have all witnessed the absolutely dismal showing during the municipal elections of October 18th, 2004. Our city council was elected by a mere 19.8% of Calgarians, which is nothing to be proud about. If you have an opinion on the way things should be, exercise your duty as a citizen and vote.

Clearly, your choice is yours. If you think Alberta is doing well, vote conservative and keep the government in office. If you think that the other parties can do better, vote them in. This thread is not intended on changing your views, but only to provide you with some direction on when to vote.

Don't know where to vote? Your provincial candidates will be HAPPY to show you where to vote, and give you the necessary information to allow you to vote.

For information about your candidates, the Alberta Parties have provided detailed information about who to contact. The Calgary Sun and Calgary Herald also have some information about election candidates.

You can contact: Elections Alberta (http://www.electionsalberta.ab.ca/welcome.html) for information on where and how to vote.

Yeah guys, get out and vote! It's out last one for a few years so it's a good reason to get out there and say your piece!

I'm like Global News - i'll only recognize a party with elected MLAs sitting in office.
