GMC Van Wont Start

We have a G.M.C van and it wont start.:guns: The starter grinds away but it wont start. The battery registers at 11 and when we boost it it some times starts. We hooked up anothere batery and it still would not start. Please help me.

Starter could be going, take the starter to liek a Part Source or somethign and get them to test it for you if you don't want to do it yourself. If you want to do it urself hook up the car battery to positive and negative on the starter and if it spins its still working if it doesnt, you need a new one.

We got it running. we found out the bat was not very good and put a new one in. But the electrical system is styl running funny please help.
