Hi everybody.

My family and I will shortly moving to Red Deer, Alberta from the UK. I have been involved in Motor Sport for over 30 years starting with Road Rallying back in the late 60's with a 1275cc Mini Cooper S, and then on to stage events in an Escort RS 1800, and the past few years working as a TrackDay Instructor here in the UK.

We have had several WRX's during the past 9 years and plan find a suitable replacment once we arrive in Canada next April for our WRX STI Wagon, Jap import 340hp.

I don’t seam to be able to find any information on the Internet if this model is marketed in Canada. I also note that the Canadian spec STi is 2500cc 2 cam rather then the 4 cam 2 litre unit here in the UK.

If I am unable to find an STI wagon, then I will be considering either the WRX wagon of the STi sedan. Any input would be very helpful, particularly on dealerships and info on either of the above.

Kind Regards

Terry

There is no STi wagon

The STi in Canada is 300hp 2.5L with AVCS - 6 speed
The WRX Wagon is 227hp no AVCS - 5 speed

Depends on what you are planning on doing with it and how much you want to spend. The STi is consideraly more than the wagon, but you are also getting a lot more performance.

the 340 hp one that u r reffering to is the WRX S202 i think...not available here. as said by fuji, ur best bet is wrx sti sedan or wrx wagon.

WRX STi Sedan, WRX Wagon or maybe take a look at the new Legacy GT?

Lets see some pics of your JDM STi Wagon.

I would look at importing an STi from the US to Canada. You could probably get one for about $41,000 CDN. Currently, the STi is a rip off in Canada at nearly $50,000.
