God, that's ugly.

And those fogs light in bumper are played out when Hyundai used it on the Tibby.

Ok ... they will come in next ~ May/June as 2006 model.

2.0 T engine from the golf .. 195HP

3.2 V6 ( from golf as well ? or a new one, not sure, but same engine from the 2005 A6 ) 250HP

The present A4 is a nice looking car, the coming 2006 model is kind of weird looking ....

However, there is only one reson why VW is going to facelifted the A4, and pump the HP .. because the new 2006 3 series is coming out next Fall, so Audi/VW want to make their new A4 sooner ...

FYI, new 3 series (E90) 325 will be 218 HP, and new 330 i will be 262 HP ( DIN HP )

New A4 still won't touch the 3 series, however, the price for A4 will still around 15-20% lower then 3 series. :)

Man... i hate where audi is going, it all started with the ugly grills.... now they mess up the A4. I used to love audi... less and less with each new model though.

Actually, the New A6 is not bad, doesn't look good in pictures, but the real thing is not bad, drives nice too, and with their modified " I drive" ... for $70K, the A6 3.2 is a good deal ! ( compare with the Honda $72K RL ! :D )

The problem with new Audi grill is it only work for mid size car and up. Looks ackward for the little A4.

3 series will out sell it by a large margin.

Even the $44K TL offer bluetooth and much better performance then the RL ... (270HP, 30hp less then the RL, but take both TL and RL for drive, u will know which one is faster)

Again .. depends what people want, RL is nice car, but $73K for a Honda ... (NSX is different story)

Some people may spend $75k for a STS .... ( I am sure most beyond member rather spend $75k on an Asain car ! )

I agree with Extrem, the new "Audi style" Grill is not bad on A8/A6 but on the A4 ... :dunno:

The rear half on that A3 looks pretty nasty. I hate it when upscale manufacturers (read: mb, bmw, audi,etc..) make ''economy'' models. It devalues the brand, and kinda lowers the prestige in owning one. BMW's going to be guilty of this with the 1-series, MB not so much (but i think europe has cheaper models), audi seems to be doing it too.

I guess it opens up a whole new market for them, and is a better decision financially. Audi should just keep VW a bit more lower-priced and have an upscale Audi brand. That way, they're both not interfering with each other's markets.
