Ebay Shipping

How come the few times that I have ordered something from ebay I was required to pay an extra 48.xx in shipping charges when it came to my door? Is there a way to get around this?

Has anyone experienced this problem as well?

Yup, tell them not to use UPS. USPS is the best option I've found.

:werd: American shippers don't realize or care that UPS charges such an outrageous amount for handling when it crosses the border. The USPS handling fee is $5.35.

yea i would email the shipper before hand to ask if they will ship usps otherwise some just say they only ship with a certain company and you will get screwed

i never get anything from ebay unless they use USPS, do a search on this forum, there's a few topics that talk about it

yeah big box only .last time i got my pocket bike. its cost me 35 buks.. but not charge on my tokico shocks etc.....

i ask for usps all the time, but ppl still send out with ups. :rolleyes:

but i've never had a problem with the seller refunding me money if i have to pay brokerage for their mistake.

my pocket bike cost me nothing, just standard shipping, they left it on the door step

yeah if u got it be fedex they will send u the bill home later . but i think ups cost nothing cant remember casue i order almost 20 of them from ups and fedex..

i got my pocket pike like 2 months ago and havent got a bill so I doubt it is coming
