shaft play questions

how much shaft play is too much shaft play? mine wiggles about a half of a milimeter or so.

if the wheel doesn't touch the housing its ok :D

sounds fine to me.....once oil runs through it the wheel will stiffen up

Do you see or feel any scratches on the compressor inlet? or turbine outlet? Can you move it more than a centimeter in any direction? Can the inlet and outlet spin in oposite directions (Celica-St162!!!) If not than it should be fine.

it feels to be around 20 thou or so, so it's probably fine. and about the shaft play thing, statistics have shown that nearly all males in the human race play with their shafts one or more times a week. but, i was asking about turbos.
