Hi, Ive just gotten a new Toyota Matrix in October and we're having a problem with it, does anyone know what might be wrong?

Its really hard to start the car, when I turn the key it takes several crank before the car would turn over and start. I mean some time I had to turn the key back and try again before thing would fire up.

This should not be happening on a Brand new car should it?

I put in a new compustar but I dont think this should be the problem.

Please give me some Ideas???????:banghead:

Should not happen to any car, new or older if properly maintained. You got warrenty, use it while you can. If they try to tell you it's because of your remote starter and avoid doing work/give you hard time it's bull. Good luck man.

I know what you mean. Im thinking they may used the starter install bs too thats why im kinda worry.

Im thinking it may be a gas issue, we usually get gas at the 7-11 nearby but Im gonna try Shells high octane and see if it helps with the starting issue.

The dam thing has less then 1000 km on it

Dam I hope I did'nt get a lemond!!!!
